Les remparts st paul de vence

La Côte d’Azur regorge de restaurants et de bars à cocktails absolument sublimes avec des vues panoramiques à couper le souffle. Et malgré tout, cela ne nous empêche pas de voir pousser de nouveaux lieux hyper tendances dans des endroits atypiques de la région, c’est le cas notamment pour les Remparts à Saint Paul de Vence, le nouveau coin branché situé en plein coeur du village le plus connu des Alpes Maritimes. Pas forcément commun de voir ce genre d’endroits dans un village perché de la Côte d’Azur, on est d’accord…

Moi qui a tant l’habitude de butiner parmi les meilleurs restaurants à Nice ou d’aller prendre un verre à l’hôtel Amour Nice, j’ai enfin décidé de sortir de mon trou pour aller m’évader à 25 minutes de Nice dans ce nouveau lieu branché qu’on m’avait tant parlé. Et cela en valait vraiment la peine !

1. Une vue à couper le souffle

Les remparts Saint Paul de Vence offre une vue incroyable sur la Côte d’Azur et plus précisément sur la mer et les communes de Villeneuve Loubet, la Colle sur Loup jusqu’aux collines du Col de Vence. En temps ensoleillé, on peut assister à de sublimes couchers de soleil. C’est ce qui fait sans doute la force du lieu.

2. Food, Drink and Sunset

Le restaurant les Remparts propose une cuisine méditerranéenne douce et raffinée préparée avec des produits frais et de saisons. En plus de cela, la carte propose également de superbes cocktails délicieux, le tout dans une ambiance conviviale et chaleureuse. Ajouté à cela, de la musique house et électro viennent apporter de la fraîcheur. De quoi passer un bon moment entre amis.

3. Le restaurant

Le restaurant est divisé en deux espaces : en intérieur et en terrasse.

En terrasse, vous pourrez profiter de la sublime vue tout en sirotant votre cocktail. Lors de journées très ensoleillées, vous pouvez vous mettre à l’abris du soleil sous les canisses prévu à cette occasion.

En intérieur, vous serez subjugué par l’authenticité et la beauté du lieu. En effet, les murs en pierres, les voûtes, les volets niçois, les tables en bois, les vignes accrochées tout au long du plafond… décorent à merveille l’intérieur du restaurant. Un ensemble d’éléments naturels qui fait nous sentir bien. Le tout accompagné d’un service de qualité !

  The best place in town for a true mixologist cocktail. Great music and spectacular views over the wall of St Paul, from the sea to the hills of far-off Provence. A must-visit for lunch or dinner between Thursday and Saturday. The only improvement would be the addition of more plant-based items to their menu.

  Sitting on the deck with that view out of the city wall, it’s hard to want more. But then you get these lovely little fresh dishes of beautiful combinations, served by the friendliest staff even when the restaurant is packed full of tourists. Superb.

  We were passing through, I had noticed this restaurant on Instagram, we were particularly attracted by the setting. It was a Saturday we had called to reserve 10 minutes before our arrival, for a table with the view, the very friendly waiter was able to reserve our table for us. On arrival very welcoming staff, explains the menu well. The fact that it is a small restaurant there is not a lot of choice, but it is really good we are really not disappointed. I would like to thank the reception staff again and for having received us on a sunny Saturday.

  Great surprise!!   We had a wonderful time together! The atmosphere corresponded to all our expectations for this evening: little background music, sitting side by side facing a breathtaking view (we even had the right to see a fireworks display), we were in our bubble! The team was warm and took care of us to make this evening perfect. Thank you very much for being able to meet all our expectations!!   Three stars for the view over the whole valley and the fairly friendly staff. But no more because bad value for money. 86€ for two cocktails, one of which is just a pim's with fruit (nothing more, you can find that everywhere, 12€ per cocktail), the fish of the day (good quality fish but not very generous plate) as well as a ceviche but this presented in a very small bowl (therefore difficult to eat) and there were mostly raw vegetables rather than fish! 19€ for a bowl of vegetables is really exaggerated. We were placed on a counter facing the valley (sticky counter by the way) and unfortunately the distances between the different customers are not respected. Glasses of wine are reasonably priced though. Salty note simply for the view so really disappointed.

  Real favorite of our vacation! 😊 Everything was perfect, the shaded terrace, the magnificent view of course, but above all the kitchen, a real treat. Fish with delicious olive mash, homemade burger, very lightly tea-infused fruit salad, strawberry tart (very good shortbread), everything was delicious and very fair in terms of flavors. Even the toilets are nice (and clean) in this restaurant! 😉 Thank you👍👏

  I won't be going back there again! - The welcome and the language of the staff was too familiar. Our reservation (lined up in front of the ramparts) was ignored and washed up on a hastily prepared table on the terrace. The server's explanations were contradictory and absurd (He justified himself by improvising that this location was reserved for a drink while customers had lunch there afterwards). - The shared board printed as cheese AND charcuterie is actually a choice between the 2. The platter was very frugal and uninteresting, with only 3 kinds of charcuterie and the least expensive (ham; sausage and chorizo) and presented summarily without butter. - Excessively refined menu and very expensive for the experience we have endured. We are close to the tourist trap. Pretty view but which can be contemplated elsewhere than in this restaurant.

We work with young people and want to imbue our establishment with an atmosphere that resembles us without ever lacking in professionalism. But once again forgive us if this made you uncomfortable ... We do not serve chorizo ​​or sausage but Spianata and Coppa accompanied by truffled ham that we obtain directly from the producer. Ditto for our cheese, which we take from the Mons cheese dairy (Meilleur Ouvrier de France). We recognize that it is possible to find cheaper platters with chorizo ​​and sausage and are sorry you didn't like it. Our card is effectively reduced to 18 items.   Food is good but service very slow despite not being super busy! I had to chase the waiters for anything from ordering, asking the bill and my change......
