To start, the dishes were good but not extraordinary. Quantity level served is a bit tight if you have an appetite. The price may be high for what we are served. Then this table for two in a corner near the toilets... sincerely we will have seen better. We feel a little sidelined and the parade of other customers who are going to do their business is not the most pleasant. We are limited in places (we had to shift the table to fit). Even if the service was very correct, I do not recommend more than that.

Huge disappointment. We went there following the recommendation of a person living in Annecy. If my husband was satisfied with the foie gras as a starter and the veal main course, my choices were unfortunately the victims of a big scam (for tourists?): the octopus as a starter had 4 tiny pieces in a dubious mixture of chickpeas bathed in a spicy sauce and my casserole of sweetbreads counted, hold on tight, a... Yes, a tiny piece of sweetbread... For 29 euros the casserole. But hey, there were pieces of carrots and cauliflower... Carrots are expensive. We mentioned it. We were entitled to an excuse, a "yet everything is weighed" (yes, we had noticed the rationing) and a commercial discount (the octopus entry not charged). Thank you for the gesture but I had not come for that. I had come to eat well. It missed.

I had a great time, warm welcome and decor! "Classic" but nice card! Why this note? In my veal au brezain, a piece of cling film 5 cm long, and in my girlfriend's plate a small piece of film! Small note to the server who did not seem very touched! No commercial gestures on the note, if instead of being "young", we would have been older it would not have happened like this! Pity!

We came to Annecy for a weekend! We chose this restaurant for Saturday night! How can I tell you that this is a great surprise! We have reserved a table for the second course! We are welcomed at the top, the servers are listening! The dishes are to die for (expression of course) we all ate! Never mind! The mixture of flavors is selected with taste! If you want to treat your taste buds, go for it. If we had just one thing to say a little hot in the room. Believe me, we quickly forget this detail. Kudos to the team!

Very bland cuisine for a very salty addition: Positive: good starter and server who regularly asks if everything is going well. In addition there is a certain research in the dishes offered Negative: dishes and desserts unfortunately very bland .. yet the recipes were promising. Missing ingredients in some dishes.... We tried to give constructive and polite criticism, which unfortunately was not accepted or even taken into consideration.

The quantities are ridiculous the prices pulled up. Not to mention the rude waiter. Table placed in an angle next to the toilets for a magnificent view of the comings of other customers to the sanitary facilities. Not to mention the considerable lack of space, the table had to be moved. In short, very unrecommendable. The second star is just because it was well executed. But restaurateur is a job and unfortunately it's not just cooking

Correct dishes without being exceptional, wines just satisfactory. Same experience as one of the previous comments: contribution of the addition in the middle of the dessert accompanied by a "we will have to settle to free the table". We did not, however, hang out during the meal, not take an aperitif. In this case would we have been kicked out in the middle of the dish? When we ask if it is possible to take away the bottles of wine that we have not had time to finish, the restaurateur answers us in the negative. We believe we are dreaming. Avoid if you want to have a good time in a restaurant.

Friendly setting, welcoming waiters. Small disappointment in the kitchen, except for the dish. For a menu at 36 €, the starters and desserts remain simple, lack of work on the flavors. For example, soft chocolate and scoop of vanilla ice cream or hazelnut tiramisu, very basic and poorly made desserts. Another negative point: a menu not in accordance with the seasonality of the products, tomatoes served in the middle of winter! At this price we expected more sophisticated cuisine.

A culinary discovery! As a starter, a delicious gravlax, followed by a cod fillet with its revered rice risotto and a squid quenelle .. for dessert a succulent dark chocolate fondant and a Feuillantine with honey and caramelized apple. You add to that a smiling and attentive staff ... and the evening was a success.

I think I chose the wrong entrée dish, that sablé de parmesan poivrons confits and pickled filets de sardines (more or less the dish was called that) tasted only of vinegar, which covered everything else, a decent disaster. There was the ossobuco platter which in my opinion would have been much more enjoyable. On the other hand, the piece of beef in the main course was cooked to perfection and really tender. It is also true that with 45 € I ate there for a week at my house.

Really delicious ! Annecy is a very beautiful city and it is this kind of restaurant that embellishes the city even more. Our plates were very beautiful and VERY good, it was really a great meal, full of flavors and good things. The service was good with good value for money, located in a quiet little alley in old Annecy. Go ahead, don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and what a great surprise! The food is delicious, despite a crowded restaurant we were able to be served fairly quickly, the waiters and waitresses were all smiling, outgoing, funny and helpful. Their fish was very fresh and very well cooked and their revisited tartiflette a delight (be careful, however, there is really more cream than usual). I recommend 100%, thank you!

After going around the street twice and going through the restaurant menus which only half convinced us because of the long and endless menus and little variety in the dishes, we came across this little restaurant. The waiter was writing the evening dishes on the slate: packets of poultry vegetables and golden polenta and a beef carpaccio with burrata salad, € 22 each course. And frankly we were pleasantly delighted with our absolutely exquisite dishes and worthy of a great chef. simplicity and precision in execution. In the top. Very pleasant waiters. Fast service. Hot dishes well presented. Quiet corner in the alley far from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the street. Address to remember

Les Chineurs de la Cuisine is one of the best restaurants in French gastronomy and is located in the middle of the old town of Annecy. The dishes are refined and prepared with quality products. The staff and the owner are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a beautiful room and two terraces outside. The restaurant is organized and clean until the toilet. The price applied is in the average for French gastronomy. No comment on the value for money. It would be better to book for lunch and dinner because it is very popular with tourists.

We visited at noon on February 15th. The reception was friendly and we got a nice seat. We decided on the menu at 39 euros. The foie gras was very good, although the cocoa powder was not my taste. As a main course we had a pintade and a Saint-Pierre. Both dishes were excellent. For dessert we decided on the poire pochée. A bad choice, the pear tasted like it had been in water for 3 weeks. Otherwise a restaurant which we will be happy to visit again.

Very good Annécienne address. Quite efficient and cheerful service, no frills. Visit during the week without reservation, two people. Full of free tables, the restaurant was far from full. Layout a bit nested in a small room on two half-levels, it is not very spacious nor particularly comfortable, but it works. Slightly longer dishes to come, but the wait was worth it, it was very good. Very well combined flavors, yet "classic" but tasty dishes. Without being hyper refined gastronomic, it's still a bit elaborate and well prepared. Prices a bit high for a bistro-style decor / setting, but it seems to me to correspond to the quality of the food and the location in the heart of old Annecy old town. note that the quantities served are not very generous but I found it well balanced to have plenty of room for a dessert ... and what dessert. The mango heart chocolate fondant with red fruit sorbet was a real treat, I was won over!

The Gault Millau and classification and Lonely Planet enjoyed this restaurant is indeed well deserved. It serves fine food, prepared and flavors on the plate and especially the Palace meet in balance. The service is perfect. Had a really excellent 4 course meal here, 29 euros with 5 extra for the cheese, with a lovely lady serving us. This restaurant had a completely different menu than the rest in Annecy, with a great deal of professional skill in the cooking, expertly presented. I can thoroughly recommend this place.

We discovered this restaurant last year and have returned this year, the service is efficient quick and friendlyl. There are 2 formulas & a la carts menus, the dishesexcellently cooked & presented by staff who take pride in their skil & ingredients. The wine list is extensive within a wide range of price. It seems popular with the local inhibitants and rightly so. A treasure in a neighbourhood containing many facets of dining, nevertheless well worth a visit to a restaurant which combines quality meals with a very reasonable price.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our children. A nice surprise and a warm welcome. This restaurant is on two floors with a nice decor. As a starter Saint-Jacques and foie gras opera. Then, duck breast and larded monkfish steak and to finish gourmet coffee, Mont-Blanc cup in our way. Impeccable service and excellent food.

The dinner here was a true french experience. We wanted to eat local cusine and we were happy that we stop at this place. Service was good, the waiers nice but a bit slow(I imagine this is how France is, people here take their time, so it was not a problem). We took 2 menus with starter, maine course, cheese and desert one bottle of wine, water and caffee for just 108 euros. I recomand it. All other guests at the other table where french, so is not a turist trap, is the real deal.

On a business trip, and walking the streets I set my sights on this restaurant. Excellent surprise. I do not understand the comments that I have read. Very warm welcome, and smiling staff, very pleasant. Very good and tasty starter (split pea cream), the very tasty and tasty dish with a very good choice of wine to accompany it (suckling pig shoulder). The dessert, a smooth crème brûlée. Here we have fun with our taste buds. It is not a place to eat a salad even if they offer it. The menu at 28 € is largely up to par.

Comfortable surroundings, excellent food, attentive waiters, interesting menu, reasonable value. Definitely worth a try.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Was slightly apprehensive eating here with my lack of French but no problems. Worth going for the creme brulé alone!

Food is great. We have tried a speciality "escalope savoyarde" and also another dish, "cabillaud half smoked" . On the menu pan you just have to follow the advice for the wine. Anyway a place to ho if you are in Annecy.
