Philadelphie. 4.0/5 I feel satisfied and totally happy after reading this book. Marc levy's writing style is attractive as usual. I was hypnotized by the plots which are slow but not boring at all. I have been chewing and digesting this book. the twist was not a big surprise but it was emotional. A book i need while waiting for my essay correction. Thrilling and full of love. It have a fine vintage vibe.

We all knew the incident of racism happened in the US and many events after that is happening right now. It was mentioned in this book as well, and was an important detail. Therefore, i kind of understand what is occurring in the US at this moment. I have to say it was a good timing to read this book and i am thankful to decide to read it.
Marc Levy always knows how to create a maze of surprises and lead his readers into it by wise words, fascinating plot, and spectacular storyline development. In this writings, he delivers to us a crazy journey, a journey to the past of two people seem strange but familiar to each other. The deeper we dig into the adventure, the richer we found not only in their circumstances but also on their souls. Unfortunately, in my opinion, I felt a little bit empty when Milly’s story is left open. It would be gorgeous if the writer lets that flight of emotions land rather than leaves it on the dreamlike sky. On the whole, I fall in love with this journey. Oct 07, 2018 Joerund Hage rated it it was amazing What a story! I hesitated a long time before I started on this book as I feared it might be a take-off on the Thelma
and Louise genre. However, after a few pages, I could not put it down. Levy does his research well, and combines this in a fast-paced road story with an incredibly suspense-filled plot. 2.5 stars. This was one of those Marc Levy books where the story is just not believable enough. I didn't believe
in Agatha's motivations, and I thought Milly's responses were completely out of character for the person we were introduced to at the start of the book. Agatha also seemed to take most of 21st century life in her stride and to have very few questions about the world (apart from brief conversations at the beginning and end about GPS and mobile phones). A nice book is worth reading thousand times.
An emotional, thrilling love journey brings readers to many tones of emotion. Angry, misunderstood, deep feeling and extraordinarily surprised are what you feels throughout the journey. Otherwise, the novel will help us to answer the question that what really is the meaning of "happiness"?. An emotional, thrilling love journey brings readers to many tones of emotion. I read this book a while back and loved it. Though I read it in a different language.
Verry slow start (which was necessary tho). After ½ of the book it gets interesting and at times hard to lay down. And in the end I was even a bit touched…

I'm sooooo in love with the idea of this book. A Beat Generation sitting next to a Millennial, crossing the country just like Sal Paradise did in On the Road - I can't help but being
so awestruck by just how the the plot goes. I can feel clearly the burning flame inside of Agatha as she explained to Milly how things used to be and how she as a rebellious adolescent has tried to change the ugly world she once
lived in. That flame got to me, all I want to do now is to read more about the racism, the misogyny and the unfairness which she once fought so hard against and the remaining of these toxic ideals in order to do the same thing one day. Not really my thing, but still an amazing work.
